Died, MRS. ELIZABETH CLARK of Center Township. She was born in Jackson County, Ohio, January 9, l8l2, and died August l4, l897, aged 85 years, 7 months and 5 days.

Her maiden name was HARTLEY. She was united in marriage to WM. CLARK in Ohio. They were blessed with eight children, two of them and the father died years ago in Ohio.

The deceased united with the Methodist Church at the age of seventeen. The funeral service was held in the Palestine Baptist church, Lord's Day p.m., August l5, after which the body was laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. (no stone found)
