Wallace Monroe Dillinger was the
husband of Mary Elizabeth 'Walker.'

They were married on March 8, 1860,
in Effingham, Illinois.

Wallace was the father of
two known children:
William Riley
Stephen Anderson

Wallace enlisted in the Union,
in Illinois on August 19th,
1862, during the Civil War.
He served in the 98th Regiment,
Illinois Infanctry, company C.
His rank was Private. Wallace
died during the War.

His wife, Mary, applied and received
his pension. After his death, on
August 4, 1863, Mary moved to Missouri
and remarried. She married Michael
Graves on July, 15, 1870 in Greene
County. They were the parents of 3
children.
The two sons of Wallace's and Mary
were raised by Mary and her second
husband, M. Graves.
