Wiliam was married twice.
In 1904 he married Lillie B. Kelly in Ellis County, Texas. They had the following children:
1) Myrtle B. (b. 1905)
2) William J. (b. 1907 - d. 1994)
3) Daisy Irene (b. 1913 - d. 2007)
4) Bailey (b. Oct. 7, 1913)
5) Pansy Caroline (b. 1916 - d. 2005)
About 1934 he married Emma Marie Basinger, widow of William Taylor Wolverton. They had no children but he helped raise her third daughter Betty June Wolverton who was born Dec 4, 1931. William and Emma lived for a while during the late 1930's in Nacogdoches, Texas where he worked for the WPA.
William and Emma moved to #1 Nonesuch Lane in Dallas about 1944 where they lived on the Marcus Estate and William worked as gardener and caretaker. After Emma died in 1956, William moved to Killeen where he lived with his son W.J. and Bonnie Baisden.
