Ervin C. Witt, 71, died Saturday, March 16, 1991 at St. Anthony's Hospital in O'Neill. He was born on Dec 25, 1919, at Wisner, Nebraska, to Julius Witt and Margaret Leu.
He was married to Arlene Stuckenschmidt on March 6, 1947, in Fremont, Nebraska. They farmed in the Bancroft area before moving to the Redbird area in 1965 and to O'Neill in 1988. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene; daughters, Janelle Crawford and Sandra Witt, both of Omaha; sons Dennis, O'Neill and Larry, Wakefield; five grandchildren; sisters Elna Sila, Sioux City, IA, Orma Beckmann, Pender and Normal Novak, Fremont; brothers, Elmer, West Point, Eldin, Bancroft, and Melvin, Wakefield.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
