Daughter of Daniel Clark Jr. and Ann E. "Annie" Derlin, wife of George W. Brower, whom she married about 1880. Sister of George Washington Clark, Evelina Clark Chapman Thompson, and James Clark.

In 1870, Ann E. Clark, aged 10, was living in Hartford, Connecticut, in the home of her parents, Daniel Clark, aged 40, a farmer, and Ann E. Clark, aged 37, with siblings, George W. Clark, aged 7, Evelina Clark, aged 3, and James Clark, aged 6 months. Her father was shown to be a Horse Collar Maker.

In 1880, Anne E. Clark, aged 21, was living in Stratford, Connecticut, a servant in the home of Edward Thompson, aged 41, a farmer, and his wife, Clarissa Thompson, aged 31, and their children, Frances S. Thompson, aged 10, Edna Thompson, aged 8, and Jeanette Thompson, aged 1. Also living in the household was William Brison, aged 19, a servant. Living next door was George W. Brower, aged 21, single, a servant in the home of George A. Thompson, aged 39, a farmer, and his wife, Mary E. Thompson, aged 31, and their daughter, Edith R. Thompson, aged 6. Her parents, Daniel Clark, aged 58, and Ann E. Clark, aged 46, and her sister, Evelina Clark, aged 13, were living in Old Saybrook, Middlesex, Ct.

On July 6, 1890, her father, Daniel Clark, died in Old Saybrook, Ct. and was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Old Saybrook. Her mother, Anne E. Clark, his widow, collected widow's benefits on August 2, 1890. Her father had served with Company B, 21 Connecticut Infantry.

In 1910, her mother, Ann E. Clark, aged 75, widowed, was living on Monahan Road, Old Saybrook, Ct., in the home of her nephew, William W. Clark, aged 54, a carpenter, and granddaughter, Marguerite Chapman, aged 16 (daughter of Charles A. and Evelina Clark Chapman).

Obituary - Stony Brook - Mrs. George Brower died Thursday at St. Luke's Hospital. Funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. William Freeman, also in the Episcopal Church.
