ROBERT PAUL (RED) COX, 49, of Winder, died Friday at the Winder-Barrow Hospital following a short illness. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alice Wallace Cox of Winder, 1 son, Billy Ray Cox of Winder, 3 daughters, Mrs. Jimmy Phillips, Paula Cox, and Mona Cox, all of Winder, 3 brothers, Fred E. Cox of Winder, Thomas Lamar Cox of Mabelton and James R. Cox of Benson, 2 sisters, Mrs. Leroy Morris and Mrs. Morgan Mooney, both of Winder, 3 grandchildren.
Funeral service were held Sunday at Chapel Christian Church, with Rev. L.L. Benton officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
