Mrs. Mable Franks Parker, 90, of Florence, passed away Jan. 17, 2013, at her home following an extended illness. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Greenview Funeral Home followed by the service at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Rev. Chris Underwood will officiate and burial will be in Greenview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Parker was born in Waterloo to the late Russ Colvy and Elba Turpin Franks. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Hardy Newton Parker; son, Billy Eugene Parker; brothers, Arnold Franks and Roy Franks; sisters, Hazel Tacker and Pearl Jones.

Survivors are her son, Larry Parker; brothers, Howard Franks and Carroll Franks; sister, Lucille Gibbs; grandchildren, Gregory (Greg) Eugene Parker, Melissa (Missy) Parker Frazier, Jeffrey (Jeff) Wade Parker, Jennifer (Jen) Parker Crawford; great-grandchildren, Gregory Shane Parker, Lucas James Parker, Marisa Nicole Crawford, Peyton Lee Parker, Abigail Claire Frazier, Gavin Parker Frazier, Greyson Parker Crawford and Vivian John Frazier.
