He was born July 8, 2004, in DuBois, a son of David C. and Ella J. (Byler) Coblentz of Rossiter.
His paternal grandparents are Christ H. and Martha Ellen (Hershberger) Coblentz of Rossiter. His maternal grandmother is Ella (Miller) Byler of Atlantic, Pa.
Ivan loved horses, being outside from sun up till sun down and fishing and hunting with his dad and family.
In addition to his parents, surviving relatives include two brothers, Henry D. and David C. Coblentz; five sisters, Irene D., Sarah D., Laura D., Katie Marie and Leanna Christine Coblentz, all of Rossiter; and numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jake Byler.
Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. and 2 to 4 p.m. today at 2510 Johnsonburg Rd., Rossiter.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brenda D. Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Big Run.
Interment will be at Pleasant View Cemetery, Rossiter.
