Darlington- Lucille M. (Pletzer) Fenner, age 87, of Darlington, Wis., died on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, at Lafayette County Manor in Darlington. Lucille was born Jan. 12, 1914, in Big Hallow, Plain, Wis., to Alois and Theresa (Gruber) Pletzer. She married the late Scott Fenner Oct. 23, 1934, in Plain, Wis. Scott died May 14, 1995.
She worked at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County for 17 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Darlington, of its Council of Catholic Women and Lafayette County Homemakers.
She is survived by her children, Wayne (Dee) Fenner of Platteville, Wis., Helen (J.R.) Rhodes of Belmont, Wis., Carl (Pam) Fenner of Darlington, Wis., Leonard (Pat) Fenner of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Muz (Ed) Aebersold of Belmont, Wis., and Greg Fenner of Darlington, Wis.; 16 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; two sisters in law, Helen and Alner Pletzer, both of Spring Green, Wis; two very special friends and caretakers, Lynn Olson and Kristie Lueck, both of Darlington, Wis. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her twin infants; her son in law, Jerry Olson; two brothers, Everett and Leonard Pletzer; and her sister, Helen M. (Alvin) Will.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Darlington. Burial will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
