Rosemary Dixon, 70, of Chillicothe, died 8:29 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013, at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born November 26, 1942, in Columbus, to the late Arthur E. and Agnes Cox Lawhorn. On November 9, 1974, she married Rodney Dixon, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, all of Chillicothe; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, of Columbus; Several nieces and nephews including a special niece, of Columbus; special friends, Colby, whom she considered her son, Ellen and Kim, all of Chillicothe. She was predeceased by a grandson, Chaz Kaltenbach.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor J. Troy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Ware's from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday.
