He served as a senior officer of the cruiser mine "Volunteer" (1906), Tender "Diamond" (1906-1907), the battleship "Crown Prince" (1907-1908). Commanded a destroyer "Volunteer" (1908-1910), was the captain of the flag-staff of the Baltic Chiefs squad (1910-1911), a brigade ships of the Baltic Sea (1911-1912). Commanded the battleship "Andrew" (1912-1915), led the squadron headquarters (1915), Mine Defense (1916-1917), Division patrol ships (1917) Baltic Sea. From 10.03.1917 - Head Mine Defense Baltic 16.07.1917 was enrolled in the reserve rank of Naval Ministry, to 26.12.1917, the - again Chief Mine defense.
