Thomas "Tommy" Adams was the son of Watson E. "Watty" and Rousa (Hogg) Adams. He married Susana Cornett on April 13, 1893, in Letcher County, KY. They had ten children: Sarah Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Adams) Nickles, Bertha (Adams) Perry, John D. Adams, Watson E. Adams, William Riley Adams, Angeline (Adams) Williams Brown, James Elbert Adams, Herman Adams, Zola (Adams) Gibson and Lola (Adams) Brown.

THOMAS ADAMS

Thomas Adams, Mouth of Dry Fork, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, June 22, 1956 at his home after an illness of several weeks. He was the son of the late Watty and Rose Hogg Adams and was born on October 17, 1873, being 82 years, 8 months, and 5 days of age at death. He is survived by his wife Susanna Miles Adams, and the following children: Mrs. Bertha Perry, Crown, Kentucky, Mrs. Lizzie Nickols, Whitesburg, Kentucky, Johnny Adams, Ermine, Kentucky, Mrs. Angeline Brown, Mrs. Lola Brown, and Mrs. Zola Gibson, all of Crown, Kentucky.

Uncle Tommy as he was well known to his many friends was a farmer a hard-worker all his life and a fine old gentleman. Funeral services were held at the residence, Mouth of Dry Fork on Sunday, June 24, 1956 at 10:00 C.S.T. Officiating was Rev. Curt Caudill and Lewis Craft. Burial was in the Uz Cemetery, Uz, Kentucky. Craft Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.
