Mrs. Lila Virginia Carr, 67, wife of Robert Linwood Carr, died at a local hospital yesterday afternoon at 12:15 o'clock. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. W. H. Dalby, Mrs. Frank Allen, Jr., and Mrs. James Crump; a son, Harry Carr, all of Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Joyner, of Carrsville; Mrs. Bettie West, of Smithfield, and Mrs. J.R. Howell, of Franklin; three brothers, Thomas A., J.P. and J.B. Lankford, all of Carrsville; four grandchildren, Mrs. J.J. Krason, Miss June Fay Howell, Miss Anne P. Crump and Frank L. Allen, and two great grandchildren. Mrs. Carr was a native of Isle of Wight County and had been a resident of Norfolk for 37 years, residing at 3210 Omohundro Avenue. She was a member of the Beaverdam Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial, Elmwood Cemetery.
