Denise Chapman, formerly of Chester County Denise Chapman (nee Bernardini) passed at St. Luke's Hospice in Bethlehem, on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Mario and Violet Bernardini. Denise grew up in Aldan, Pa. and attended Lansdowne-Aldan High School. She lived and worked many years in Chester County for several doctor's offices before moving to Bucks County. She is survived by her husband, Charles W. Chapman, Jr. of Quakertown; her stepdaughter, Collen Durham of Palm City, Fla.; her two sons, John Michael McCrossin and James French Smith; brothers, Dennis and Donald Bernardini, her twin, both of West Chester; and her sister, Donna Short also of West Chester. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at 12 noon on Friday, Jan. 18, at Milestone Events, 600 E. Market St. West Chester, followed by a luncheon. Family and friends are welcome to greet the family from 11:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Uplifting Life Services are being arranged by the DeBaptiste Funeral Homes Inc. of West Chester and Bryn Mawr.
