Obituary from the Clarksburg Exponent Telegram Tuesday January 15, 2013: Beulah A. Myers, age 92, of Clarksburg, WV, formerly of Katy Lick, was called to her eternal home and left the pain, suffering and heartache of this world behind on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at her residence. She was born in Mount Clare, WV, on Sept. 29, 1920, and was the daughter of the late John and Clara (Dotson) Bunch. On Oct. 18, 1947, she was united in marriage to Warren "Jeep" Myers, who preceded her in death on April 20, 2003. They were married for 56 years. She is survived by their children, Linda (Jeffrey) Jett of Clarksburg, Larry (Becky) Myers of Good Hope and Carolyn Sue Myers of Clarksburg. She is also survived by her dog Cuddles. While Becky was a daughter-in-law, she was considered a daughter by both Warren and Beulah. Beulah was a proud grandmother of Robert (Christine) Myers of West Milford, Brian Myers of Good Hope and Christopher Myers of Bridgeport. She was the great grandmother of Jonathan, Becca and Peyton. She also is survived by a brother and his wife, Fourest and Opal Bunch of Pennsboro and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by five brothers and their wives, John and Myrtle Bunch of Clarksburg, Robert "Bobby" and Carol Bunch of Good Hope, Charles "Charlie" and Inez Bunch and Raymond and Gerry Bunch of Michigan and Harry "Bud" and Ruth Bunch of Good Hope; also three sisters, Robert (Audra) Penn of Michigan, Vinson "Tine" (Virginia) Myers of Clarksburg and an infant sister, Joann Kathleen Bunch; also two brothers-in-law, Eddie Myers of Bridgeport and Wilson Myers and both of his wives, Florence and Nancy of Ohio. Other relatives were James and his sister, Sharon Beulah Penn of Michigan, Roger Bunch of Good Hope and Arthur "Sonny" Myers previously of Weston. One of many jobs Beulah had was doing housework for various people. While she liked everyone she worked for, she held a special place for the Tonkin and Goff-Cather families. She was very happy when she was visited by Caroline Cather-Aras and her daughter Emmy Aras, as well as Laura Cather-Pears and her husband, Dan Pears. That meant so much to her. One of Beulah's important things in her life was family. She was always glad to get her goodies from her niece, Roberta Bunch and the phone calls from two out of state family members who called her frequently. Even if she wasn't able to talk much or too long, she knew the calls had been made to her. She got to celebrate her 92nd birthday breakfast at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bridgeport with her niece and her husband, Dorothy "Dee" and Bob White. Dee made her a special cake and they drove from North Carolina to bring it to her. Beulah got to share what turned out to be her last birthday with them. That was a very special occasion for her. Beulah never had bitterness. She was a soldier for the Lord until the very end and her love showed in the way she lived as well as the way she went home. She had attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church for many years. She had stopped attending due to her health. Beulah had a green thumb when it came to gardening. She was so proud of the one tomato plant she planted which produced over 200 tomatoes on summer. Friends will be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main St., Clarksburg, from 1-8 p.m. Tuesday where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, with Pastor Jim Davis presiding. Interment will be in the Good Hope Masonic Cemetery.
