Dorothy passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 15, 2013 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Crowder, Okla. October 16, 1923 to Andrew and Maude (Kirby) Smith.
Dorothy married Chester Icenhower, June 26, 1945 in Reno Nevada and they had 4 children. They were married 50 years before his death in 1996. She retired from Providence Hospital after 22 years, and loved making quilts, bowling and making people laugh. Most of all, she loved spending time with her amazing family.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, parents and her beloved brothers, Dan, Jack, and Johnny. She is survived by her four children, Judy (Glenn), Dale (Cindy), Gary (Karen) and Mike (Eileen); 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
