Peter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Pulos, was born February 4, 1922 at Woodford, Calif. When he was two years old his parents moved to Mojave and they have lived in the same place all these years.

Peter was a gentle boy, always smiling and was popular with his school mates. He graduated from the Mojave Grammar School and the Antelope Valley Union High School in Lancaster.

He responded gladly and willingly when called upon to defend his country. It was not long until he was sent overseas and on August 23, 1944, entered into eternal rest.

His mother, a smile on her lips but with tears shining behind dark lashes, says, "I am grateful that my boy has come home to rest. I know he lies in peace."
