Glenn J. Larsen 1919-2002
Glenn J. Larsen, 83, of Great Bend, died Dec. 8 at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center of Great Bend.

He was born Nov. 1, 1919, at Charden, the son of James Jewell and Pearl White Larsen.

He married Maxine Deibert on Nov. 27, 1946, at Reno, Nev. A resident of Great Bend since 1946, coming from Colby, he was a superintendent for Lindholm Construction of
Great Bend until his retirement.

Larsen was a member of First United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge AF & AM 15, American Legion Argonne Post 180 and Lake Barton Golf Club, all of Great Bend.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II as a corporal.

Survivors include his wife of the home; one daughter, Beverly Larsen Cole of Salina; two brothers, Norman Larsen of Kansas City, Mo., and Dean Larsen of Colby; three sisters, Frances Smith, Nancy Sanders and Mildred Jones,
all of Colby; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Earle Larsen; and two sisters, Dorothy Schippert and Ruth Brickley.

Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Gary Brooks officiating. Burial will be
at Hillcrest Memorial Park of Great Bend with Masonic graveside rites. Memorials are suggested to Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center -Alzheimer's Unit, in care of Bryant Funeral Home of Great Bend.
