Senida Soíla Chapman y Villa was the daughter of José Pedro Juan de los Angeles Chapman y Ortega and Josefa Antonia Villa y Váldez. She married Diego Alcalá Machado y Talamantes in 1888. Senida appears in the 1900 census living on Rancho la Ballona with her husband and seven children. Senida's niece, Eloisa Mutaw, also appears with the family and is listed as a servant (Eloisa appears as the bridesmaid in the photo posted at Adelina Mutaw's memorial). Senida died at Rancho la Ballona (now Culver City).
