Kingsley Buel Colton was the son of Buel P. Colton and Charlotte Zearing and the husband of Dorothy Peacock. He graduated from Amherst College, class of 1915. Along with his brother James he was a horticulturalist and developed the thriving cranberry business in Springbrook, WI, called 'Coltonberry.' Coltonberry was finally sold in 1981 after wife Dorothy died.
