William Talmage Vaughn, Nancy, died Sunday at his home after a long illness.

The son of the late Albert and Nancy Jane Flynn Vaughn, he was born June 15, 1889 at Norfleet. He was married to Maggie Burton in 1908. She preceded him in death. He married Allie Evelyn Bland in 1918. She also preceded him in death.

Mr. Vaughn was a retired postman and a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church at Naomi.

Survivors include the following children, Lester Vaughn, Cincinnati, Mrs. Julia M. Rodenberg, Sebring, Florida; Adrian and Arnold Vaughn, Nancy; Arvis Vaughn, Vermillion, Ohio; Mrs. Lillian Halcomb and Mrs. Maxine Halcomb, both of Nancy, Mrs. Lois Lyons, Cincinnati, and Mrs. Helen Ard, Ft. Lupton, Colorado; one sister, Eliza Jane Flynn, Science Hill.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Hugh Shelton and Oscar Lobb officiating. Burial was in the Norfleet Cemetery.

Somerset Undertaking Company in charge of arrangements.
