He was born on Aug. 6, 1950, a son of Henry P. and Ruth Marie Smith Dick.
Surviving are his mother, Ruth Dick of Eureka; three sisters, Carolyn (David) Emmert of Nashville, Ind., Nancy Harms of Toulouse, France, and Deborah (David) Friesen of Fresno, Calif.; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Stephen was an apartment manager in Eureka.
He was a member of the Metamora Mennonite Church and was a volunteer at the Et Cetera shop in Eureka.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial of ashes will be held at a later date in Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka.
