Frances Allen, 87, of Warrensburg, MO (formerly of Lee's Summit, Pittsville, Nevada and Kansas City), died Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. Mrs. Allen was born Saturday, May 6, 1916 in Aldrich, MO, the daughter of Clarence Foster and Lillie May Hawkins Foster. She was a homemaker and member of the Northern Hills Baptist Church in Warrensburg. On November 23, 1933 in Nevada, MO, she married Doris W. Allen. He preceded her in death on July 14, 1997. Survivors include two daughters, Frances LaDean Kirchhoff and husband, Lee, Blue Springs, MO and Joyce Kay Hook and husband, Jim, Warrensburg, MO; two sons, Gale Henry Allen, Palm Springs, CA and Gary Wayne Allen and wife, Dolores, Lee's Summit, MO; a sister, Leora Thompson and husband, Virgil, Bolivar, MO; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2003, at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg, with Pastor Bryan Wittekind officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery, north of Warrensburg. Pallbearers will be Todd Hook, Josh Luber, Cody Mayberry, Kevin Luber, Larry Allen and Don Allen.
