Dr. Ingemi was a retired dentist who operated his own practice for more than 60 years. He graduated in 1931 from Temple Dental School where he was secretary of his class. He was a life member of the N.J. Dental Society and the American Dental Society.
He was a member of the Hammonton Board of Education for 18 years. He was also past president of the Hammonton Kiwanis Club, the Sons of Italy Lodge of Hammonton, the Hammonton Chapter of Deborah and a former member of the American Cancer Society.
He also was a member of the Buena Vista Country Club where he had two holes in one at age 75 in the William B. Kessler Memorial Hospital annual tournament and at age 85 in the Italian Sons and Daughters of America of Hammonton annual tournament.
He was a captain in the U.S. Army during World War II and a member of the American Legion Post of Hammonton.
Born in Hammonton, Dr. Ingemi was a lifelong resident.
Surviving are a son, Anthony P. Jr. of Fairfield; a daughter, Karen Mancuso of Hammonton; a brother, Samuel of Vineland; a sister, Jennie Repici of Hammonton; and four grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Martin de Porres Church, Hammonton. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
