Jack Mason, 64 of Jesup, Ga. died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at his residence after an extended illness. The Peach County, Ga. native had lived in Wayne County, Ga. the past 15 years, attended Jesup Church of God and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was employed with Rayonier, worked 23 years with Bellsouth and was associated with Georgia Public TV, the Georgia Defense Force and Mars. He was a former Masonic member and his interests included all forms of communication, building and repairing radios, woodworking, and enjoyed friends at the Kwiwi Restaurant. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Mason and his grandmother, Bessie Mae Skipper. Survivors are his wife of 10 years, Elaine Finn Mason of Jesup, Ga.;his mother, Geneva Belflower Mercer of Macon, Ga.; a daughter and son-in-law,, Amy and Cory Hunt of Dacula, Ga.; 2 grandchildren, Taylor and Ashtyn Hunt of Dacula, Ga.; a step-daughter, Tammy Twilley of Jesup, Ga.; step-grandsons, Wyatt, Preyton and David Twilley, of Jesup, Ga; ywo special aunts, Betty Vinning of Ft. Valley, Ga. and Sharon Williamson of Washington, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will 5 to 7 P.M. Monday, January 14, 2013 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home with the 6 P.M. American Legion Post 311"s presentation of the U.S. Flag.

Graveside funeral services will be 2 P.M. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Ft. Valley, Ga with Rev. Richard Jelly and Rev. Mobley Cross officiating officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to Hospice of South Georgia Building Fund, 1625 Sunset Blvd. Jesup, Ga. 31545.
