Born Aug. 12, 1917, in Peoria to Jesse and LaVada Colvin Manock, he married Caroline Walker on Feb. 5, 1944, in Clinton. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Carol Ruth Tullis of Carson City, Nev.; and two sisters, Mary Lugeanbeal of Two Harbors, Minn., and Nelle Burns of Elmwood.
A member of the DeWitt County Farm Bureau and the Peoria County Farm Bureau, he farmed in the Peoria County and DeWitt County areas for many years.
He was a 4-H leader in Peoria County. He also was active in the Peoria County Rural Youth Reunions and DeWitt County Rural Youth Reunions.
He was a member of Clinton Presbyterian Church. He also was a member of Clinton Eagles Lodge.
Graveside services will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
