J. Harold Wert, Sr., 72, died Thursday at Carlisle Hospital.
He was a retired employe (sic) of Fleming's Truck Stop, an employe (sic) of Carlisle Auto Salvage, and a member of the First United Church of Christ, Carlisle.
He is survived by his widow, Verna (Snell) Wert; three sons, John H., 1951 Spring Road, Carlisle; Robert E., 310 Baltimore Ave., Mount Holly Springs, and Craig A., at home; one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Gayle) L. Fry, RD1 Carlisle; two brothers, Francis W., 53 S. Pitt St., Carlisle, and Orval B., Danville, N.J.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., with the Rev. F. Russell Mitman officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
