MRS. GEO. BADORE PASSES FROM LIFE AT HOME HERE
Mrs. George Badore, wife of Former Chief of Police George Badore, passed away Thursday morning at her home, 17 Ketcham Street, following a stroke which she suffered Tuesday. She had been in failing: health for the past two years. She was 73 years of age.
Mrs. Badore was born in Malone on May 2, 1861, a daughter of the late Basil and Lena Boyer, her maiden name being Zillah Boyea. Forty-seven years ago she was united is marriage with George Badore and their long married life had been one of mutual happiness and affection. She was a kind and loving wife and mother who built and cherished a happy atmosphere in her home.
In her late years she remained youthful in her outlook on life and this characteristic endeared her especially to younger people.
She was a devout member of Notre Dame Church.
Surviving are her husband, Geo. Badore; five children: Henry, Herbert, Harold, all of Malone; Bert, of Rochester, and Mrs. Chester Raynor, of Utica; two brothers, Oliver Boyer or Massena, and Ozias Boyer, of Bellmont; six sisters, Mrs. Edward Cherrier, Mrs. George Yando, Mrs. Fred Martin and Mrs. Fred Yando, of Malone; Mrs. R. W. Robinson, of Malone who is now in Florida, and Mrs. Peter Badore, of Malone.
