Wife of John Clark and mother of son Jesse Clark; and daughter Rachel Clark who married Washington Alexander.

The following was written in her grandsons journal:

"Grandmother Clark (nee Sarah Young) was a good woman, I write her name with reverence. Her chief merits were beauty and industry. I understand that when young, she and her sister, Rachel (who married Col. John Felder - he settled in Lauderdale county, Alabama) were considered uncommonly beautiful."
