Mildred retired after 42 years as a secretary having worked at the Granite City Army Depot and later the Federal Center in the transportation department.
She was born July 27, 1917 in Worden, IL, daughter of the late Henry & Minnie (Dustman) Dubbelde. She married A.C. "Charlie" Rideout on June 20, 1952 in Springfield, IL. He preceded her in death on February 7, 1988.
She was survived by four nephews and five nieces; and several great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Victor and Lawrence Dubbelde and a sister Louise Schaefer.
She was a member of the Grace Chapel Lutheran Church in St. Louis where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. She was also a volunteer at Christian Hospital North East in St. Louis.
