Anna Louise Riney Silcott, 79, Sierra Vista, Ariz, formerly of St Patrick, died July 24, 2000 at the Regional Health Center at Sierra Vista, Ariz.
Born January 1, 1921, near St Patrick, she was the daughter of Charles and Cyrene McClenning Riney.
Silcott graduated from St Patrick High School in 1937. She attended college in Clinton, Iowa. After college she worked in Whitehorse, Yukon territory, Canada for the Bechtel Price Callahan Co. until November 1944. She then worked for Texaco, Inc in the Indianapolis and Chicago area until her retirement in 1988 when she moved to Phoenix, Ariz . In March 1995, she moved to Sierra Vista, Ariz.
Survivors include two sisters, Helen Grandstaff, Sierra Vista, Ariz and Burdetta Scullion and her husband, J Donald of Dunnellon, Fla; one sister-in-law, Blanche Riney, Taylor; four nieces; five nephews, 12 great nieces, 16 great nephews; 21 great great nieces; 16 great great nephews; and two great great great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert, Thomas and one in infancy; one niece, one nephew and one great great niece.
Funeral services were held at 200 p.m. on Sunday, July 30, 2000, at the Shrine of St Patrick Catholic Church at St Patrick with Rev Tom Alber officiating.
Visitation was held Saturday, July 29, 2000 from 500 until 700 p.m. with a prayer service at 630 p.m . at Davis Funeral Home in Canton.
Interment was in the St Patrick Cemetery at St Patrick.
Music was provided by Pat Galle and Jason Richmond.
Pallbearers were Carroll Arnold, David Scullion, Maurice Disselhorse, Ralph Arnold, Gene Riney, Bill Richmond, Larry Leonard, and Steve Riney.
