Roy E. Bowers, Jr. age 73 went to be with his Lord on December 8, 2012. Husband of 53 years to Sylvia Ann T. Bowers. Son of the late Roy E. Bowers, Sr. and Elsie L. Bowers. Loving father of Roy A. Bowers (Wife Lisa), Stacey L. Bowers and Shelley B. Duvall (Husband Darrin). Grandfather of Amanda B. Figueredo (Husband Adam), Christian B. Petit (Husband Josh), Roylyn N. Bowers, Landon R. Duvall and Everett Roy Duvall. Great Grandfather of Payton A. Petit and Adalena M. Figueredo. Brother of Lanny, Larry, Shelia, Irene and Sandra. Roy is preceded in death by Louis, Wilhemina, Sharon and JoAnn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He retired from International Marine Terminals after many years of service.

Interment will be in McDonogh Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
