CARLISLE - Fred F. Shughart, 66, of Carlisle RD4, died Wednesday at Carlisle Hospital. He was a farmer in Cumberland County.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Anna Mary Derr Shughart; five daughters, Mrs. Anna Mae Rummel, Plainfield, Pa., Miss Dorothy Marie Shughart, at home, Mrs. Lee Wagner, Mechanicsburg, RD1, Mrs. O. Jacob Baer, Carlisle RD6, and Mrs. Ross Franciscus, Hamilton, Ohio; five sons, Dale L. and Richard D., both at home; Raymond L., Carlisle, Fred F. Jr., Dillsburg, and John P., Carlisle RD 4; four step-daughters, Mrs. Robert Wilson, Mt. Holly Springs, Mrs. Charles Hollenbaugh, Northeast, Md., Mrs. Marlin Clair, Carlisle Rd 4, and Mrs. Leo Lay, Carlisle RD 5; a brother, Raymond Shughart, Carlisle RD 6; 28 grandchildren, qand 12 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home at 169 W. High St., Carlisle. The Rev. William P. Strausser, pastor of the Newville Assembly of God Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today after 7 p.m.
