In Memory of Rena B Culpepper Barnett, who's burial site and death is unknown. She died between 1888/1892 NC. She is the daughter of Reuben & Mary F [?] Culpepper, of Charlotte NC. Her father is a Civil War Veteran, and buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Charlotte, her mothers burial site is unknown.

She married William Micajah Barnett, on March 16th, 1878, in Charlotte Mecklenburg Co NC. He was the son of Javan & Rachel [White] Barnett, of Columbia Richland Co SC.

They had 4 to 5 children; Robert W, Mary F, Elizabeth Graham "Lizzie", the last 2 could be children of Wm's 2nd marriage, but, R O, and Sille Barnett.

After Rena passed away, William married Laminda Ann Hinsdale, on August 17th, 1893, in Polk Co NC, she was the daughter of Charles C & Mary J [Thorne] Hinsdale, of Polk Co NC.

They had 8 children; Wm, Lela, Charles, Chauncey, Jennie, Ransom, Aileen, and Miriam.

Rena was Christened at Portsmouth VA, Oct 8, 1859.
