Catherine was born to Francisco "Frank" and Catherine Fruci Frucci Italian Immigrants from Filadelfia, Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy. Her siblings were Bronde M F (Lyle C Cheney and Wilbur Callender), Celeste F (Charles Shively) and Gentilo "Tony" Frucci (June G Williams), Joseph and Frank F.
Catherine was a graduate of Niles High School.
On July 12, 1945, she was wed to Robert Villeneuve in Charlevoix, MI. They became the parents of Craig and Todd Villeneuve.
Cathy was a court reporter and served Judge Norman Kopec of St. Joseph Co. IN for over twenty years. She was an active volunteer of the community and an avid bridge player.
When Cathy was born, she was very tiny and frail. The attending physician Dr. Lyle Giddings and his wife took her under their wings. They helped her gain her strength and there was no stopping her.
Robert Villeneuve passed away in Nov of 1985 at the age of sixty-four, Catherine passed on Dec 27, 2011, at the age of ninety-one. They are interred at Silverbrook Cemetery alongside their son Craig who died in 1980.
