She and Gerald raised their children in Hopewell, VA. where she lived until health issues caused her to move to Albuquerque, N.M. with her daughter & family. She was a devoted memeber of First United Methodist Church, Hopewell, VA. where she enjoyed her "circle" meetings and many friends. She was an excellent seamstress while raising her family.
