Cora Lee "Corky" Regier, 84, died Jan. 15, 2005, at her home, Wichita. She was born Aug 2, 1920, at Lake City, Okla., the daughter of Yantis and Alpha Baxter Hawkins.
A former resident of Lyons and Hillsboro, she was bookkeeper and former office manager of Irv Schroeder Chevrolet, Hillsboro.
On Oct. 27, 1940, she married Wilbert Dan Regier at Anthony. He died Oct. 29, 1999.
Survivors include a son; three daughters, a sister; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Halstead Cemetery, Halstead, with Pastor Cleo Koop presiding. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Mennonite Church, Halstead. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Memorials may be sent to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or to First Mennonite Church, in care of the funeral home.
