Her Death Certificate shows middle initial of "B", however, all the Census, as a child, and after she married show "E", thus I am staying with that observation. Her brother William Bolger was the informant on this death certificate.
Ella's father Henry H, was born in Ireland, about 1819. He was a Cabinet Maker, and later had a furiture business, in Charleston SC. He was a Civil War Veteran.
Her mother's lineage is very interesting, and books have been written on this "Quinby" family.
This Bolger family is recorded on the 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880 census, it appears Ella's father, Henry died between the 1880 and 1900 census, her mother lived to 1904. These census records also reveal that Henry's sister lived with them and Quinby relatives from Rose's side of the family, It appears some folks have counted them as Henry's chldren on occassion. The 1850, 1860 and 1880 are good census, the 1870, really distorted the families ages and birth places. Henry Bolger's son, Henry B Bolger has a memorial at their cemetery, among other family members. I feel strongly that Ella's father, is also buried at Magnolia Cemetery.
