Mrs. Julia Haynes Corn, 75, of Route 6, Mocksville, died Monday afternoon at 12:45 p.m. at Davis Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born on August 16, 1900, in Yadkin County, and was a daughter of the late Clarence and Emma Steelman Haynes.
She was a member of Sandy Springs Baptist Church.
She was married to Charlie Corn, who preceded her in death in 1969.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Velma Haynes Cozart of Route 6, Mocksville; and one brother, Hurlie Haynes of Route 2, Harmony.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Sandy Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Tutterow officiating.
The body will remain at Reavis Funeral Home until taken to the church.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight at the funeral home.
