Services For Myrtle Clowes
Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle E. Clowes, 98, were held at the First Baptist Church in Mojave on Wednesday, Dec. 1.
Mrs. Clowes was born Dec. 17, 1887, in Muskingdom County, Ohio, and passed away Nov. 28 in a Las Vegas convalescent home. She first came to California in 1945, and to Mojave in 1952. She lived here until moving to Las Vegas in 1969.
Mrs. Clowes is survived by a sister, Lula Morris, St. Petersburg, Fla.; three granddaughters, Margaret Owens, Las Vegas; Virginia Roberts, Macon, Ga., and Pat Slocum, Charleston, So. Carolina; a great-grandson, Leonard Krahenbill, Stanton,Ca; three great great-grandchildren and five great great great grandchildren.
The Rev. Olin . G. Collier officiated at the 2 p.m. service.
Interment followed at the Mojave Cemetery. Stickel Mortuaries were in charge of arrangements.
