Flora Mae Thompson, 63, passed from this life Wednesday at the Flo and Phil Jones Hopice House in Jonesboro, AR.

She was born March 11, 1949, in Tunica, Mississippi, to Earl and Harriett Rae Miles.

She retired from Arkansas State University in 1995 and was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in Walnut Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Raymond and Purvis Miles; sister, Ruby Phillips and grandchildren, Samantha Liles and Cheyenne Green.

She is survived by her husband, William Thompson of the home; sons, Robert Miles, William Barrentine of Knox, Missouri, Bob Cauley of Hugo, Ok, Ronnie Cauley of Malvern, Wayne Cauley of Seminole, Ok; daughters, Karen Green of Malvern and Kathy Lee of Alicia; brothers, J L Miles of Union City, Tennessee and James Miles of Mississippi; 33 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday at House Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge with Rebecca LaPiro officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Pallbearers: Isaac Green, Joe Hendrix, Gerald Patterson, Ralph Warren, Kenneth Hilderbran and Justin Cauley.
