THOMAS WATSON DEAD
Funeral for Fifth Street Resident, Thursday Afternoon
Thomas Watson, 63, colored, died at his home, 512 Fifth street at noon today, after suffering from failing health for several months.
Born in Scott county, he came to Madison several years ago and had lived here since. He was a laborer. Mr. Watson was married to Miss Alice Wake who preceded him in death a number of years ago and later married Frances Todd, who survives with eight children.
Children surviving from his second marriage are: Jane, Fred, Hazel, Wilbur, Catherine, Virginia and Leon. From the first marriage, Claude in Cincinnati; Florence of Evanston, Ill.; and Wilson of this city. He leaves also who brothers and a sister in Scott county and a brother, Robert, living near Cincinnati.
Funeral services will probably be held Thursday afternoon at the Lytle funeral home. Burial will be at Springdale.

Funeral services for Thomas Watson, colored, who died at his home, 412 Fifth street at noon Tuesday, were held at the Lytle funeral home yesterday at 3:30 p.m. in charge of Rev. S. M. Gaines. Burial was at Springdale cemetery.
