Was a Farmer and Blacksmith.

When the war of 1812 broke out, he enlisted in the Army serving under President William Henry Harrison, until the close of the war. He fought in the famous battle of Tippi Canoe

he moved to Washington Co, Arkansas in 1842 and he died in 1859 (he is buried in the old cemetary near Lincoln, Arkansas.
