Mr. Woolever was born at Circleville, O., Jan. 31, 1889, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonah Woolever. He came to York in 1925 from Polk where he was cashier of a bank and became manager of the loan association, a post he held until his retirement about 2 1/2 years ago.
He and Ruby Tucker were married in 1917.
Mr. Woolever was a member of the York Methodist Church and of the Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his widow, Ruby; one son, Robert, Santa Barbara, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Albert (Catherine) Kamm, Clifton Springs, N.Y.; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Clarence Barnhart, and a brother, Ralph Woolever, both of Circleville. [Note: His first wife and mother of their son, Robert was Nellie Cone, b. 1892, d. 2 May 1914 in Chugwater, Wyoming.]
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Methodist Church, the Rev. Frank Kirtley officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
The body is at the Metz Mortuary.
