Eleanor was born in Pennsylvania to Mary J. Finnigan born in 1870 in Dowington, Pa., (and who was first married John Doughtery in 1891 until his death in 1902), and Francis "Frank" Casey (born in 1879 in NY). She was a twin of Frank Nelson Casey and also sister to Robert Casey and Joseph Casey. She was married to August Werner "Gus" Frisch and they lived at 53rd and Lancaster in Philadelphia. She was the mother of Werner (died as a child), Eleanor, August Jr. (Buddy), Allen, Jimmy, Mary, Annie, William Paul "Bill", Edna, Roberta and Bobby. Grandmother to 20, great grandmother to 55. She is remembered as a fantastic cook and loved to bake and make meals for her family. She passed away at home from complications of a heart attack.
