Major League Baseball Player. Known as Mike Mowrey, he was a third baseman making his debut with the Cincinnati Reds on September 24, 1905. For thirteen seasons, he played with the Cincinnati Reds (1905-09), St. Louis Cardinals (1910-13), Pittsburg Pirates (1914), Pittsburg Rebels (1915), Brooklyn Robins (1916-17) and was a member of the Robins' 1916 National League Pennant team. He ended his career with a record of 1099 hits, 485 runs scored, 7 home runs, 461 runs batted in and a .256 batting average.
