In 1905, G. Albert married, Margaret Helen Hoffman, and after his marriage he converted from the Methodist to Lutheran Church. At the time of the 1910 Census, George and Margaret were living in Millvale, and in 1920 and 1930, they were living in Aspinwall, Allegheny Co., Pa. They had one daughter and one son—Ruth (who died at age 4 months) and Earl Albert—and they adopted Louise Collier, daughter of Margaret's sister Augusta.
In 1929, Albert was struck by a car as he was getting off a streetcar. The accident severed his arm, and although it was reconnected, he never regained use of it. Albert died of colon cancer.
