Jerry S. Blair, 50, of Cannon County died Jan 4.

He was born in Warren County on Jan 13, 1962. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Jane Miller.

He is survived by his father, Carton Blair and his mother, Virginia Ruth (Prater) Blair, both of Cannon County; brother Bobby Carlton Blair of Nashville; nephew, Jeremy and Stephanie Miller of McMinnville; great niece and nephew, Allie and Keaton Miller; special friends Scott and Jennifer Campbell and Larry and Kay Gannon.

Mr. Blair was a member of the Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Woodbury Central High School. Following graduation, he worked for Deese Electric trimming trees for 14 years. He loved being outdoors. Going hunting and fishing with his friends was on of his favorite things to do. He was known to be easy going, able to get along with anyone. He was a patient person and willing to give you the shirt off his back.

Vistation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Center Hill Cemetery.
