Obituary - Patchogue, L.I., February 6 - The funeral of William Nelson Ackerly, who died at his home on River Avenue, last Sunday, was held from his late home yesterday. The Rev. J.W. Maynard officiated and interment was in the local cemetery. The deceased was born in New York City and was in his 65 year. He had lived at Patchogue for the past thirty-five years, during which time he followed the bay. He was a crack shot and a well known duck hunter. He had been sick with consumption for the past five years. He leaves a widow and five children.
