Mrs. Camilla Bates Chinners Schriner, 71, of 771 Stump Hole Road, Elloree, died Monday, May 16, 2005, at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, at First Baptist Church in Elloree with the Rev. C. Clark McCrary and the Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Burial will be in Two Mile Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery in Cope.
Mrs. Schriner was born Oct. 23, 1933, in Orangeburg, a daughter of the late John David Bates and the late Daisy Sanford Bates. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Elloree and was retired for WDIX and WORG Radio Stations. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Chinners and her second husband, Ken Schriner.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, David and Tonja Chinners, of Orangeburg; one daughter and son-in-law,
Beth and Nelson Wood, of Camden; one granddaughter, Sara Catherine Chinners, of Orangeburg; two sisters, Shirley
Seawright, of Abbeville and Miriam Lauria, of Miami, Fla.; and a special friend, Bill Wolfe, of Elloree.
Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in Orangeburg is in charge of arrangements.
